Collin was born in Salt Lake City, UT, but he grew up in San Diego. He is the oldest of 3 kids.  According to his mom, Collin was reading the newspaper by the age of 3.  This automatically put him a few grades up, though he ultimately chose to stay with his peers.

He served his mission in Santiago North, Chile.

After his mission, he attended BYU, where he met the infamous rabble of adventurous friends he calls The Crusaders.  They are all still very close today, connected by some unknown mystical force and driven to live together in small packs.  It’s really quite interesting.

Collin enjoys adventuring, though that has been somewhat limited with the birth of our son.  He has become a bit of a Francophile since our trip to Paris.  He yearns for our return to Paris, where we will do little else but eat crepes, macarons, and cheese.  Collin loves good food.  Possibly more so than Maxine, since his taste buds are way more sensitive than hers.   He gets passionate about his pet projects, which have included: baking, making DDR pads (he’s in the process again), and various research endeavors.
